 Content creation is key to showcasing a brand and connecting with an audience in today’s digital landscape. This page highlights the work I produced for Rod D Music, capturing and editing visuals designed to showcase his craft, personality, and brand while engaging his audience with high-quality, shareable content.

My client, Rodrick Davenport, reached out with the goal of building his overall social media presence. At the time, his pages had no posts and he wasn’t sure where or how to begin. I reassured him that starting on social media doesn’t require overthinking—it requires showing up.

When you’re unsure of your audience but confident in who you want to become, the best approach is to attract that audience rather than rely solely on scrolling or hashtags. Starting from scratch allowed us to activate the algorithm, learn the language his audience responds to, and understand how engagement naturally flows within his niche.

A key focus was helping Rodrick become comfortable sharing his craft and posting consistently while leveraging the resources already available to him for content creation. I directed and edited all reels across each platform, ensuring the content aligned with platform-specific best practices and growth strategy.

Content creation is exactly that—showing up and capturing the vision you communicate. Sometimes, all that’s missing is a content upgrade.

Rather than highlighting performance days alone, the content offers an inside look at what a typical day can look like as a saxophone player. By tapping into the popular “day in the life” trend, this strategy keeps the client aligned with current content creator trends while resonating with music enthusiasts through relatable, lifestyle-driven storytelling.
